Each final recipient of Structural Assistance is obligated to inform the public of using the support. The methods of informing the public must always bear a double logo in the case of support of the period of 2004-2006 and the logo of Structural Assistance in the case of the period of 2007-2013. The objects and activities of the project which has received support must bear the logo pursuant to the requirements established in the publicity notification regulations of the period. The rules of information and publicity of receiving support are somewhat difference in case of periods 2004-2006 and 2007-2013. Thus, the final recipients must proceed from the rules that were applicable in the period of granting support. Projects which have received support from the measures of the Single Programming Document (SPD)for 2004-2006 must be denoted pursuant to Decree No. 53 of the Minister of Finance of 14 July 2005 Conditions and Procedure for Marking Objects Financed from Structural Support and Reference to Contribution from the European Union.
The design files of the double logo used for notification of support in the period of 2004-2006 can be found here and for the period of 2007-2013 here. Failure to comply with the rules of notification of the project may lead to partial or full recovery of the support.
The purpose of use of the conditions and procedure for marking objects financed from Structural Assistance and reference to the contribution of the European Union is to notify the public of the European Union and the Estonian state in the projects supported from the Structural Funds of the European Union. The document regulates the use of the Estonian Single Programming Document and the flag of the European Union on objects and data media made or acquired with the support of the Structural Funds of the EU.
